When it comes to signs for car dealerships, there are a lot of options to choose from. The signs you choose will give customers their first impression of your business. To create a memorable impression, consider the following custom sign options for your dealership.
Pole Banners
You might be familiar with pole banners already. They are commonly used on street lights to advertise upcoming events, but they can also make a great addition to your car dealership. Consider having these signs custom printed to feature the logos of car makers, or they can even include images of the latest car models you have to offer. Place these banners on the lamp posts in your dealer lot, and consider using them in your customer parking lot as well. If you use them in the customer lot, dedicate one type of sign to each section of parking spaces so customers can use the signs to remember where they parked.
Windshield Banners
Some dealerships use windshield glass markers to advertise the sticker prices of cars, but you can add a more professional look by having custom windshield banners printed. They can feature the prices of cars, or they can simply advertise which cars have been recently reduced. Choose banners in several different background colors so you can change the look of your inventory quickly, and don't forget to remove the banners when you sell a vehicle.
Indoor Graphics
You'll want to make sure that the inside of your car dealership looks just as sleek and new as the exterior, and you can quickly give the space an update with custom indoor graphics. Work with your sign company to create graphics of the latest sports or luxury cars you sell, and make sure the graphics are large enough to take up most of the space on the walls inside the dealership. These large images can help customers to envision themselves behind the wheel, and they offer a great way to customize your dealership so it stands out from the rest. You can have smaller graphics made for the inside of offices and waiting rooms to add to the unique look of your business. Don't forget that you can also have graphics printed for the floor in your showroom as well.
Talk to your sign company about the types of cars you sell and your vision for your dealership. Together, you can come up with a custom signage strategy that speaks to your customers. For more information, visit http://www.davissign.com.

When I started my first business, I had taken a few business classes in college, but I still had a lot to learn. I had a good product to sell, but at first, sales were very slow. I wasn't sure just how to drum up business, and I didn't have money left in my budget to invest in a big marketing campaign. I was very lucky that local marketing professional stopped into my business, and although I couldn't afford to hire him, he did give me one free important tip: invest in better signage! Since signs are relatively affordable, I took his advice and traded in my old banner for a quality professionally designed sign. Foot traffic and sales increased rapidly. I learned a lot during the sign design process that I want to share on my new blog to help other small business owners out there who are struggling!
