Designing Effective Tradeshow Signs

Blog

Participating in tradeshows can be a great way to increase awareness for your brand and any new products or services that you intend to launch in the near future. Creating a booth that captures the attention of tradeshow attendees is critical when it comes to ensuring the success of your tradeshow activities. In order to create a booth that will serve as an asset, you need to pay close attention to the quality of your signage.

Here are three tips that you can use to help design tradeshow signs that are as effective as possible.

1. Ensure that your signage can be transported easily.

It's essential that you take the time to evaluate where each tradeshow you plan to attend is located when designing your signage. If you will need to travel to another city or state, you will need signage that can be transported with ease.

Roll-up banners can be condensed into a single tube, where they will be protected from damage during transit. This makes roll-up banners the perfect option for tradeshow exhibitors who travel around the country putting their company on display.

2. Incorporate technology whenever possible.

Converting your signage to a digital format can be very beneficial when it comes to creating a tradeshow booth. By flashing your signage across large screens, you can create a captivating display for attendees to view.

Digital signage can be rotated with ease, giving you the ability to display several different signs without having your booth appear cluttered. You also have the ability to change your signage without incurring expensive printing costs when you opt to rely on digital signage instead of traditional signage. Just be sure that the tradeshows you plan to attend provide electrical outlets in each booth before you invest in digital signage.

3. Make sure your signage includes your brand.

Many companies overlook the importance of displaying their brand prominently on all signage created for tradeshow booths. Since you will not be able to personally interact with each and every attendee, it's important that people passing by your booth are able to easily identify who you are and what you have to offer.

By adding your company's logo to each piece of signage within your booth, you effectively increase brand awareness and ensure that your booth serves its intended purpose.

Taking the time to create attractive and functional signage is critical when it comes to participating in tradeshows. Consider your travel needs, opt to go digital, and incorporate your company's logo into each sign to ensure your tradeshow booth acts as an effective marketing tool in the future.

Never Underestimate the Importance of Good Business Signs

When I started my first business, I had taken a few business classes in college, but I still had a lot to learn. I had a good product to sell, but at first, sales were very slow. I wasn't sure just how to drum up business, and I didn't have money left in my budget to invest in a big marketing campaign. I was very lucky that local marketing professional stopped into my business, and although I couldn't afford to hire him, he did give me one free important tip: invest in better signage! Since signs are relatively affordable, I took his advice and traded in my old banner for a quality professionally designed sign. Foot traffic and sales increased rapidly. I learned a lot during the sign design process that I want to share on my new blog to help other small business owners out there who are struggling!
